Start your OWN Walk it Off
in your Area!

Is there a gap in your community for connection, support, and movement? Walk It Off groups bring people together to walk, talk, and build genuine friendships, and we’d love your help bringing one to your area.

What’s involved in starting a group?

Leading a Walk It Off group means committing a few hours a week to organising your walk, connecting with your local community, and building a supportive space for your walkers. We provide the structure, guidance, and community behind you, you bring the local knowledge and passion.

To get started, you’ll need to be willing to:

  • Commit to leading your walk consistently (weekly, ongoing)
  • Engage with social media to promote your group
  • Work towards a Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR, and Mental Health First Aid training if you don’t already have them
  • Follow WiO’s communication guidelines and be part of the wider WiO community

How it works

  1. Fill out the form below to register your interest
  2. You’ll be sent a short survey so we can understand your community, your goals, and what support you’ll need
  3. We’ll get in touch to talk through next steps and help you get your walk off the ground
